I am sorry Minnu 😞🤌

— what I actually want to say

i'm sorry baby. you had a fever and you still wore the saree i picked, just to see me for a few minutes. and i gave you two-minute compliments while my head was still in the office. When I told you that youre mine and I am your man, you kept on saying no. I felt really sad so i hung up when i should've stayed. and then you called back in three minutes and told me to say sorry. awwwww, thats my girlll. i'm not going to make excuses for it here — just going to try and do it right from now on.

i had three days of pending work piling up and i panicked the second i stepped out of that meeting.

...yeah, no. you had a fever and still wore that pink saree for me. that should've mattered more than my office. it wasn't a fair trade and i know it.

from now on

next time you call
work waits. you don't. i'll step out properly, not for two minutes.
next time you're unwell
i show up first. compliments after — not the other way around.
next time you dress up for me
i'll actually look. slowly. like i mean it, not like i'm answering a call.
